Putty knives are generally smaller, stiffer and better suited to heavy scraping while drywall taping knives are generally wider, more flexible and better suited to spreading and feathering and to more delicate scraping work. This Warner High Carbon Steel Flexible Putty Knife has a 1.5 in. W taper ground, mirror polished blade is great for scraping and chiseling. This easy to use tool has a comfortable, soft grip handle with a die cast hammer end.
