This igniter may not look identical to the one that was originally included with the grill. The igniter was subject to a running change, but is compatible with older models.
The 66640 is no longer available. It has been replaced by the 60092. The bracket for the 60092 has been redesigned and will fit any Q300. Fully explained installation directions will come withe the kit.

The serial number should be on your grill. Sometimes it will also be on your owner's manual but please verify you are looking at the correct manual for your grill. Weber made many different grills over the years and it is a bit confusing figuring out which parts to purchase.
